Held each year before the Spring Football game, this event is our way of celebrating our supporters and showing them how their donations are making a difference in the lives of coaches and athletes at Virginia Tech.

We feature a variety of staff from the athletic department, as well as hear testimonies from student athletes and their families. We also have former players return, including legendary football greats André Davis and Tyrod Taylor.

Don’t miss this exciting donor event! When you support the ministry you’ll be the first to receive details and reserve your seats.

Our 2019 Breakfast of Champions had the most diverse group of testimonies yet!

Dereck Lester of Facilities and Men’s Huddle Co-Leader opened us up in prayer. Whit Babcock,
the best AD in the country, gave a strong testimony of his faith and affirmed his support of FCA. Coach Justin Fuente
(football) gave us a big thumbs up to show his appreciation of what God is doing through our ministry.

André Davis, legendary Hokie wide receiver, served as panel moderator and exhibited his usual Christlikeness. Coaches participating in the panel discussion were Bud Foster (Football) and Perron Young (Spirit) sharing the impact of experiencing Christ in chapel and Bible study, as well as how much the FCA chaplain’s ministry of presence has meant to them.

Athlete parents Jimmy Mitchell and Renee Hanson discussed the role FCA had in the recruitment process. Having FCA and chaplains on campus played a major role in their sons’ decisions to attend Virginia Tech, and they expressed their joy in seeing their sons growing in their faith and walking in the Lord.

Several student athletes gave awesome testimonies of the Lord Jesus’ power in their lives!

A Big Shout Out to our sponsor!

We look forward to a long fruitful partnership.

Due to the rapidly changing situation involving COVID-19, we, as a ministry, want to do our part to both help prevent the spread of the virus and also protect our communities – including the athletes, coaches and families that are so dear to us.
For those reasons, with the rest of the country, we are making the necessary changes to our ministry, events and day today.
